International Architects Visit OKO

27.08.2016

45 architects representing the Israel Association of Independent Architects and Engineers have visited the OKO Multipurpose Complex, and was named the best project in Moscow-City in terms of its architectural and engineering solutions.

The international architects noted that OKO meets the best international standards of high-rise construction. They believe the result was not unexpected, given that the project has been designed by SOM (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill), an international bureau with a 70 year-long history that created over 183 skyscrapers in 27 countries across the globe.

The Israeli architects have also expressed a keen interest in the following solutions: an innovative approach to indoor navigation planning at the complex that completely separates residential and business flows and ensures the privacy of apartment residents, super-sensitive smoke detection system with immediate fire source localization, and the multi-step security system that eliminates any possibility of unauthorized access to OKO.

“The project demonstrates the highest standard of architectural solutions as the complex offers maximum functionality, security and convenience for its residents and office employees,” said a member of the delegation Arkady Pozin. “One of its unique features is its floor-to-ceiling glazing that ensures that the building has views of Moscow that open on to all four sides. Also notable feature is the high quality of the finishings and equipment in the ready-to-move-in apartments. And access to a private courtyard that links the parking area, apartments and the business center makes the complex truly stand out among other towers in Moscow-City”.

OKO Multipurpose Complex, the second high-rise project of Capital Group in Moscow-City, has been created by an international team of leaders in high-rise design, construction and marketing. The project has been designed by the US-based SOM (Skidmore, Owings and Merrill).
